Top 5 Positive Tips for New Mums

Are you a pregnant Mum counting down the days until your estimated due date?
Or have you recently had a baby and looking for some tips on how to make the most of the first few weeks of motherhood?
If you are a new Mum - Congratulations!
Here are our 5 top positive tips for those first weeks of enjoying your new baby:-
Sleep when baby sleeps
You may have heard this one before. It may be one of the most important parts of being a new Mum, sleep when you can.
Labour and birth is physically and emotionally demanding and your body and mind need time to heal and re-balance.
Go with the flow
The first few weeks of bonding and getting to know your baby are precious. Why not take off the pressure by leaving routines for later?
Do what feels and works best for you, your baby and your family
Whether it's feeding on demand, breastfeeding, bottle feeding or
co-sleeping. If it works for you why change it?
You are your baby's expert!
Use an electrical Breast Pump and save time
If you are breastfeeding and want to express, try using an electrical Breast Pump. We recommend Philips Avent electrical Breast Pump because it is fast and efficient.
Ask for help
It is completely normal to feel overwhelmed when you have a new baby. Talk to your loved ones, Health Visitor or GP if you need help or have any concerns.
